High School Redevelopment, Redbank Plains, QLD

The project involved the redevelopment and expansion of and existing state school facility to accommodated increased student needs.

The project was undertaken by Principal Consultant Kelvin Walsh for DETE (Queensland Government). The project process undertaken included Master Planning options, Sketch Design (inclusive of 3D modelling) and Developed Design documentation sufficient for project delivery via a Design and Construct (D&C) tender process.
The project scope included the following facilities: New 8 space GLA Block with amenities inclusive of future expansion capabilities; New Performing Arts Centre; New Music Block; New Staff Facility; Minor works to the existing Gymnasium Complex; Demolition of an existing GLA Block; and associated eternal works and services upgrades. The construction budget was $10.8 million.
